Dr. Sherab Tenzin: Adviser/High Altitude Doctor,Pure Vision Adventure Pvt.Ltd.
Dr. Sherab Tenzin from Bhutan is the Chairman, Advisor and high altitude doctor of Pure Vision Adventure Pvt. Ltd. He is also the founder and director of Pure Vision Sorig Healing and Research Center, Nepal & Bhutan, established in 2007. He received his Bachelors degree in Sowarigpa medicine from Chagpori Medical College in Darjeeling, India in 1999 and Men Rampa degree (MD) in Traditional Sowa-Rigpa indigenous medicine from Mentsekhang, Dharamsala, India in 2009.
He is an executive member and advisor of Sorigkhang International Nepal (NGO) established in 2014, and professor of Sowarigpa in Sowa Rigpa International College, Nepal. He is a member of AWB (Acupuncturist Without Border) International. Dr. Sherab’s work includes a consultant doctor and advocate of rare medicinal plantations including the conservation, management and sustainable use of endangered medicinal plants in the Mount Everest region studying the effects and causes of high altitude sickness. He also worked for World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal with the late Yeshi Lama on medicinal plants research in the Everest region. He is also involved in producing a documentary for the National Geographic Channel series “The Science of the Mind” concerning traditional indigenous medicine (2005). He had teamed up with Ian Baker and National Geographic on an expedition in search of five magic plants and other medicinal plant research in Pemakod, India (2006/2007& 2014).
He also worked with the German NGO (Medi-Himal) in free medical services in the remote villages of Nepal from 2001-2006 while based at the Namche Bazar, Everest region. Dr. Sherab has been doing healing tours in Europe and the USA from 2004-2015.
Ms. Pema Bhuti Sherpa, Managing Director, Pure Vision Adventure Pvt. Ltd.
Ms. Pema Bhuti Sherpa from the base of Mount Everest is the public relationship manager of Pure Vision Adventure Pvt. Ltd. She is a managing director of Pure Vision Sorig Healing & Research Center, Nepal, Treasurer of an NGO Sorigkhang Int’l Nepal, and a member of management committee of Sowarigpa Int’l College, Nepal.
She is working as an Acupuncturist and Sr Traditional Therapist and Traditional External therapy trainer at Pure Vision Sorig Healing & Research Center, Nepal.
She has provided regular trainings on different Ku Nye therapies to many enthusiasts from different national/international, hotel organizations, and spa groups, present in Nepal and abroad while working at the Pure Vision Sorig Healing & Wellness Pvt. Ltd.
