Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the our airport representatives and then you will be transferred to Pure Vision Heeling Center, Dollu, Pharping, 19 KM distance from TIA airport.
Day 02: Pharping Dollu, Pharping is beautiful place surrounded by number of monasteries where the training program will be conducted for 10 days. You can visit the nearby monasteries to experience the life of monks and concept of Buddhism any time of the day. All monasteries are walking distance from the center. However, the cost of staying at the healing center, lodging, fooding and training are not included in our scheduled program.
Day 03: Pharping -Kathmandu After breakfast, we will move towards Kathmandu and keep half day sightseeing’s of Boudha, a UNESCO world heritage site surrounded by many monasteries where the whole atmosphere is very relaxing with prayer flags fluttering, chants of "Om mani padmeham" filling the air. Then, we will visit to monasteries, shops and eating dinner on a high terrace in Boudha and watching the monks and others circumambulating the stupa.
Day 04: Kathmandu-Lumbini After breakfast, we travel overland from Kathmandu to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini has been included as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO - Upon arrival at Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and then we go walking through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stand up on a lotus pedestal.
Day 05: LumbiniAfter breakfast, we begin the trip by driving away, 27km west of Lumbini; visit the important archaeological site, Tilaurkot, the ancient palace of King Suddodha (Siddhartha Gautam's father), where the Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince. Allow yourself for a moment to wander around and soak the atmosphere. There's a museum nearby, The Kapilvastu Museum; the pottery, jewelry and ornaments are gathered in-house. End up the remarkable tour in Tilaurkot by visiting the shrines, monasteries and stupa near the sacred garden.
Day 06: Lumbini-KathmanduAfter breakfast, we leave Lumbini by road and back to Kathmandu. Check-in at hotel, rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 07: Kathmandu-Namo Buddha/DhulikhelAfter breakfast, we will head towards Namo Buddha. It is about 40km away from the heart of Kathmandu city located on slightly elevated land, there is a monastery on the hilltop from where visitors can enjoy the great views of mountains, hills and green fields. Namo Buddha means “Greetings to the Lord Buddha”. Buddhist mythology contains an interesting story related to this place depicting as a great symbol of human sacrifice at its highest level. After the sightseeing, we will stay at Dhulikhel.
Day 08: Dhulikhel-Patan/Baktapur sightseeing and back to Kathmandu:On the way back to Kathmandu, we will have sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square, one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley.and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a famous palace of 55-Windows, and Visiting Swayambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill - from where you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley.
Day 09: Departure:Departure from Kathmandu TIA for your onward destination
